Speaker Nolan Burmaster was elected the 34th Speaker Of The House on April 8, 2025, through a vote of 450 - 61. Through his leadership, he has carried the torch of the Speakership to make governing fair, effective and non-partisan.

November 10, 2025 - Today will be my last day as Speaker of this Great House and I couldn't be more proud of the work were able to accomplish in just 216 days. It has been an honor and I look forward to the next chapter of Congressional History. I wish the best of luck to our next Speaker.
